94 FALSTAFF: "Dunkles Rubingranat, violette Reflexe, dezente Randaufhellung. Nuancen von Nougat und Kräutern, dunkle Beerenfrucht, ein Hauch von Edelholz und Gewürzen. Saftig und komplex, extraktsüßer Kern, elegant, feine reife Tannine, frisch strukturiert, seidig und gut anhaftend, etwas Nougat auch im Abgang, gutes Reifepotenzial."
93 DECANTER: "A firm, well put together and confident Brown in 2019. This has pretty high tannin content in terms of how it feels in the mouth, with the Cabernet Sauvignon taking control for now. Flavours of cassis fruits, chocolate and crushed slate - an enjoyable and well crafted wine. Great concentration, easily equals the excellent 2018 but with a little more juice. 45% new oak, 3.71pH, IPT73. A yield of 42hl/ha. Harvest September 25 to October 14."
92-93 JAMES SUCKLING: "Plenty of rich currant and blueberry character, as well as new wood. It’s full-bodied, layered and flavorful."
91-93 THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "With accents of flowers and smoke, the wine is elegant, soft, refined and medium-bodied. There is a nice sense of purity and freshness to the silky, earthy red fruits on the palate that carries through to the finish."
