92-94 WINE ENTHUSIAST: "This wine is already showing richness and complexity. At the same time, it has the pure black fruit and acidity that characterize the vintage. Put the two elements together and this is a wine that is set for long-term aging."
90-91 JAMEs SUCKLING: " A fruity, soft 2019 barrel sample with chocolate, walnut and redcurrant flavors. Medium to full body, round tannins and a flavorful finish."
90-92 ANTONIO GALLONI: " The 2019 Deyrem Valentin has a pure bouquet with juicy blackcurrant and blueberry scents, hints of crushed violet that emerge with time, later a light vanillary scent. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, a fine bead of acidity, quite saline in the mouth with a tang of salted liquorice lending personality on the finish. Maybe it lacks the cerebral nature of some 2019s, although it does feel satisfying and shows good persistency." - Neal Martin
90-92 ANTONIO GALLONI: "The 2019 Deyrem Valentin is a pretty, understated wine. Sweet tobacco, spice, mint and licorice overtones give the 2019 lovely aromatic top notes to match its silky, mid-weight personality. A whole range of earthy, savory Cabernet notes add intrigue on the finish. This is such a pretty wine."
90-92 THE WINE CELLAR INSIDER: "Focused on its freshness and refined shape, along with a sweetness and purity in the fruits, the wine is a medium-bodied, forward, silky expression of the Margaux appellation that can be enjoyed with a minimum of cellaring."
